Luerssen, Remy

Remy Luerssen is a Mapping and Education specialist for the Virginia Coastal Energy Research Consortium.   She is responsible for GIS mapping for the offshore wind feasability study and also organizes outreach and education activities for VCERC.  Prior to joining JMU in 2007, she spent 4 years with the Institute for Remote Sensing at the University of South Florida in St Petersburg, FL.  Ms. Luerssen holds a bachelor of science degree in Integrated Science and Technology from JMU and a master of science degree in Oceanography from the University of Maine.
